Starting default face:

After modification

Scenery (high-res):

A norn and her bear.

Hot springs

So I figured out how to take screenshots without you in them. Just sit. Very zen.

I was trying to get rid of the UI somehow and zoom in so my character’s back would disappear….seems you managed t do what I did not. a little weird how these options are missing, but maybe that’s beta..
Your grafX look awesome, much better than mine. one thing that strikes me about the char customization is how ineffective it seems in terms of facial sliders; the minor adjustments make precious little difference imo.
You can’t zoom in to the first-person in GW2 and according to the devs it’s a design decision (for whatever reason; beats me). All I did in the above shots is Ctrl-Shift-H to remove the UI and then /sit or /sleep, and pan the camera up until my character was no longer in the shot.
I thought some characters were more malleable in character creation than others – I felt I made some unique creations – but for the most part you do end up looking like a “relative” of the starter face… pretty much like Star Trek Online despite its many sliders and sub-sliders.
