We very nearly missed the deadline ourselves because it was noon! I’d assumed we’d have until midnight like with most other events.

Sadly, some guildies of mine lost the achievement because they thought the dungeon was to go out at 14th and not yesterday 12th. That happens when you do’nt read the little lines when making a contract with the Consortium…

Hi! I’m a bit surprised anyone is still popping around here (happy new year!). I am, in fact, still playing GW2, and The Secret World.

Unfortunately there have been a number of real life turns that have really encroached on my ability to play, and maintain this blog as a result – since I no longer feel even remotely qualified to comment on these games in any sort of sense in between sporadic play sessions.

There’s also the fact that having GW2 and TSW on my roster means that for me, I’ve essentially found the Holy Grail of MMO gaming I feel I’d been looking for ever since I started this journey. What story do you write after the treasure has been found? I’m not sure.

Great to see you’re still alive! My Star Trek career has been derailed by getting a family member into World of Tanks, and the rest of my MMO time is taken up by LOTRO festivals of late. But I still intend to go back and reach 50 in STO. The fact that most of the recent STO weekends have included episodes only for level 50s has probably also affected my lack of draw in that regard.

I also picked up a copy of Dragon Age: Origins and DA2 on very good sale from Amazon digital a few weeks back, so I’ve been slowing working through DA:O. I started a human noble female rogue, stopped that playthrough at the Ostagar battle because I wanted to see the male dwarf noble intro, actually started one then ditched it and started another because I accidentally overwrote a save and locked myself into a dialog tree I didn’t like. Got my dwarf noble warrior as far as Lothering, Soldier’s Peak, and Sulcher’s Pass before deciding I wanted to try a mage. So now I’m rocking my female elf mage who’s completed all of the above plus Broken Circle quest line, return to Ostagar, part of Denerim, various side quests, and was last saved on the 3rd gauntlet test for the Ashes. Favorite party is Alistair, Liliana, and Wynne so far though I occasionally swap out one for a particular quest or area. Also, Mana Clash FTW.
