Well, we were there at launch, and Mr. Randomessa and I made sure to be there again for the 2nd anniversary celebrations (let’s never mind that we sat out anniversary number one). Cryptic sweetening the deal with awesome flagships for both Fed and Klingon side didn’t hurt, either.
Happy Anniversary to Star Trek Online!

I loved the mini-Qs. Hopefully I’ll still love them every day for the next 3 days 😉
BTW, did you get a friend request from Queeg? That would be me. Haven’t spotted you online so I dropped a mail request.
Picked up my ship token, even though I won’t be able to use it for 10 more levels. I managed to destroy one of my character slots while trying to re-roll the other day; still waiting to hear back from tech support. I’m hoping they’ll restore it before the event ends so I can get a ship for that char as well.
10 more levels? I meant 40 more levels. Queeg just reached Lieutenant Commander the day of the anniversary.
Oh, hey, I added you! I just get so few messages I didn’t notice my mail icon blinking for a couple of days :). And I hope tech support comes through for you. I haven’t had to use it yet so I can’t speak about their effective/helpfulness….
Thanks for the add 🙂
I managed to level from 10 to 11 in two days just off the Duty Officer missions, the two lore quests at the Academy, and the anniversary quests. Also finished my first rank of Medical commendation, and produced an Emergency Medical Hologram Doff!
I crack up each time a mini-Q turns into a tribble and can’t run away. 🙂
Yeah, they’re so bewildered when it happens, too. “How can this be?!”
I have not seen the tribble. I am now tempted to let the last one keep escaping until I do! I’ve seen spiders and various two- and four-footed creatures, and even what appeared to be a borg. Even a horta once. But not yet seen one become a tribble!
Can now say that I have seen mini-Q become a tribble twice, and it is indeed hilarious. Also had my first tribble drop from a fight and now have over a dozen of them in my bank and inventory. :>
Up to level 16 now, and participated in my first warfront (plus a few more thereafter). After going a few rounds, I jumped into one warfront in my Peregrine fighter just for fun. Beat on a couple of probes and nearly got my shield taken out by one of them exploding when I was still close. The mission was already won when I jumped in, so I just played around during the time before reset and then left to come back into the next round with my normal ship.
Also joined a Gorn Mines fleet action. I have never blown up (and been blown up by) so many frigates in one mission in my life. But we did actually manage to win the mission. I think there were about a dozen of us in there, of whom about six of us actually finished the minefield and dreadnaught part off. Pretty sure the other half spent their whole time fighting frigates and cruisers out front. Which actually worked out decently as it meant those of us respawning had a chance of managing to fly past without getting targeted and go after the next objective.
