Today is Day One of the Newbie Blogger Initiative, a month-long endeavor to welcome and encourage new bloggers into this terrifying public online world.

Starting a new blog is scary and there’s not much worse than feeling your words are going, unread, into the aether, which is why I’m so honored to be taking part this month.
